How it works

Start in three steps

  1. Add your accounts

Type in the balances of your chequing, savings, TFSA, FHSA, RRSP and RESP, and the debts you owe.

  2. Set a budget

Pick your categories and see, any day of the month, whether you're on pace.

  3. Plan ahead

Add goals with dates and watch your net worth move over time.

Your money year

The Canadian dates that matter, in one place.

Yusr's Upcoming tab lists them next to your own bills, goals and dates, so nothing sneaks up on you.

  1. Jan 1

    New contribution room

CRA adds new TFSA and FHSA room each year, and last year's TFSA withdrawals come back.

  2. Early March

    RRSP deadline

The first 60 days of the year count for the previous tax year. In 2026 the last day was March 2.

  3. Apr 30

    Tax deadline

File and pay your taxes. June 15 to file if you or your spouse are self-employed.

  4. Every month

    Benefit payments

The Canada Child Benefit, and the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit every quarter, if you receive them.

  5. Dec 31

    Year-end cutoffs

Last day to contribute to your TFSA, FHSA and RESP for the year.

Dates follow CRA's published schedule; CRA confirms the exact dates each year.

Why we built Yusr

Yusr started as our own household spreadsheet: our accounts, our budget, our goals, and the Canadian accounts most apps ignore, like the FHSA and RESP.

Most money apps are built for the US. We wanted one calm place to see everything, made for Canadian households. Connecting your bank accounts is planned, and a Premium plan is planned to keep Yusr going.

It's a private preview for now, and we're opening it slowly and carefully. Thank you for looking.

— The Yusr team
